About Mark
Mark is a veteran on air personality. He began working weekends in 1996. First doing weather and commercial breaks on the syndicated show, After Midnight with Blair Garner, then eventually moving to live air programming. Mark has worked off and on for Sand Mountain Broadcasting over the past 30 years.
Mark was raised up on country music. As a child, he was exposed to Jim Reeves, Ray Price, Charley Pride, Buck Owens and Merle Haggard. His love for great country music has never waned and has his new favorites in today’s country music, including Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton, Zach Top and (yes, he’s an Ella Fella) Ella Langley.
Mark is married to the former Jessica Cason of Arab. Mark and Jessica have 4 dogs, and a truckload of grandkids to keep them running. They are members of the Rose Road Church of God.
