Melissa grew up in central Pennsylvania and has a broadcasting degree from Penn State. She loves rooting for the Nittany Lions, the Steelers, and the Penguins. She loves that she can provide friendship and encouragement over the airwaves, and has enjoyed a career at a variety of radio stations across the U.S.

Melissa finally listened to God’s calling and joined the Christian radio family. She realized that God was calling her to speak more confidently in her faith, so she went back to school and received her MDiv. She is grateful to God and to all of the people who supported her on the journey – especially her church family.

Melissa is celebrating over 35 years of marriage to Mike, and is a loving mom to Nick, Mamie, and Marian, Grammy to Lily, and to a bunch of furbabies.

Melissa is an abuse survivor and knows what it feels like when life is at its darkest – but God placed people in her life who encouraged her to find healing through passionate faith and counseling. She wants you to know that no matter what is going on in your life – if you are hurting too – you are loved deeply and unconditionally by Jesus Christ and that God wants you to be healed too.
