Join us for this year’s Possum Day at the WQSB Studios in Albertville, Alabama, as we celebrate our very own furry weather forecaster! Will Sand Mountain Sam call for an early spring or six more weeks of winter? Be there to see the big moment live!

Join us at WQSB at 9:00 AM for the big announcement. Our three Possum Queens will be on site, along with WHNT News 19 Meteorologist Ben Smith, who will serve as the official reader of the Possum Day Proclamation.

🐴 Bama Bucks Big Possum Trot Wagon Ride

Looking for a one-of-a-kind way to arrive at Possum Day? Book a seat on the Bama Bucks Big Possum Trot Wagon!

On Monday, February 2nd, Bama Bucks will lead a 7-mile wagon train ride to the WQSB Studios. If you don’t own a horse or buggy, this is your chance to still be part of the journey and the tradition!
